Banana Beach

Banana Beach or Banana Rock Beach is located between Bangtao and Naithon beaches in Phuket. Few people know about this beach as it is not easily visible from the road, but it can be found by looking out for a small wooden sign hanging from a tree by the roadside near a small parking area. Tourists will need to go down a pretty steep dense plant slope to reach Banana Beach.

Once on the beach sun beds can be hired and there is a small Thai food open air rustic restaurant that also serves drinks. The beach boasts fantastically clear water and fine sand. Below the water are a few rocks, which small fish like to dart in and out of. Swimmers should have an interesting time here but should always be aware of the currents and tides they can be very strong during the rainy season from May to October.
