Haad Sai Kaew (White Sand Beach)
Ref No. 224 | Updated: December 22, 2012
Positioned between Mai Kao Beach and Sarasin Bridge at Phuket’s northernmost end is the quite peaceful Had Sai Kaew Beach. The topography of this coast is quite steep and it’s not safe for swimmers, especially during the rainy season from May to October, but it’s a great tranquil beach for strolling and enjoying the beautiful sunset view.
Although there are no resorts or hotels on this pristine stretch of white sand, it has a number of eateries where visitors can chill out and enjoy a wide variety of fresh seafood dishes. Try the Fried Sand Crab, which is a specialty dish of this area.
