Situated between Surin and Kamala beaches on the island’s west coast, Laem Singh is one of the most magnificent beaches on Phuket. The beach is about 10 minutes drive north from Kamala and 5 minutes south from Surin. The beach is a approximately 200 metres in length with a few rocks and boulders but mostly powdery white sand.
Laem Singh Beach can be reached from the car park area beside the road via narrow footpath that winds down through the jungle covered hillside, and is unsuitable for anyone with walking difficulties. On the beach are sun beds with large umbrellas for hire, as well as some small shacks offering Thai massage. Visitors can easily purchase ice creams and drinks while relaxing here.
