Paradise Beach

Located at the southernmost tip of Patong, Paradise Beach is approximately 150 metres in length and in contrast to Patong is much more quiet and relaxing. The beach is reached by driving past the Merlin Beach Resort and over a small hill. As the land behind the beach is privately owned, there is a 100 Baht entrance fee which should also get you a beach chair.
The beach here is lovely and the water is very clear. There is a small coral reef that is nice for snorkeling. There are also kayaks for rent. However, during the high season this beach can get a little crowded.
