Sirey Island

Just 4 km from the center of Phuket Town, Sirey Island or Koh Sirey is situated on the east coast of Phuket facing Phang Nga Bay. This small island is separated from the main island by the Ta Jin Canal with a short road bridge connecting the two. Located on Koh Sirey is Phuket’s largest Sea Gypsy village at Laem Tuk Kae. Visitors can also visit the Phuket Abalone Farm and taste some fresh Abalone dishes at the onsite restaurant. You can drive around to explore the island and there are many quiet beaches where you can stop to enjoy the beautiful sea views. However, all beaches are not great for swimming due to the muddy sea bed.
