Suan Luang Park
Ref No. 130 | Updated: December 27, 2012
Suan Luang Park is the largest public park of Phuket Town. A total of 140 acres (350 rai) of land was converted in 1987 to be an environmental conservation for His Majesty the King’s 60th birthday celebration. Suan Luang consists of a lake with fountains, green lawns and landscaped gardens, a children’s playground and a fitness area. Many locals come to the park in the late afternoon and early evening for jogging and aerobics. During weekends the park is quite busy with picknickers. You can reach the park by using 1 of 3 gates on Chao Fa Road, Wirat Hong Yok Road and Sakdidej Road. There is a parking lot near the Wirat Hong Yok entrance but spaces are limited.
