Chalong Pier is located roughly half way between Phuket Town and Rawai on the southeast coast of Phuket. The pier is the main departure point for many day trips for snorkeling, scuba diving and deep sea fishing to the islands and waters to the south and southeast of Phuket. Popular destinations include the famous Phi Phi Islands, Koh Racha Yai, and Coral Island. As well as heading to dive sites around the islands, dive boats also depart from Chalong Pier to famous sites such as Shark Point and the King Cruiser Wreck. The road leading to the pier and the area around Chalong Circle has plenty offer in terms of dining and entertainment with plenty of bars and a wide range of restaurants including delicious local seafood, Indian and European cuisine.
