Review of Tree Top Restaurant
Super, local family run restaurant. Everyone was kind and helpful. Our Thai food was fresh and authentic. The chicken red curry was spicy but not over the top, and ok as we ate it with lots of rice. bbq fish we also enjoyed. Nice to get out and about and go local.
Review of Pla-Ja Restaurant
I think their initial concept has changed after they moved to the new place near panwa cape. Most of the things available are likely Thai single dishes. The suki hot pot and chicken teriyaki were ok to me at that price. Service was also good.
Review of Panwa Cafe Phuket
We have been there just to give them a try as it looked good outside. But when getting in, service was slow although there were only around 2 other families (2 tables) waiting and we were the 3rd that day. They recommended crispy pizza their new menu, well we thought why not so we ordered it and some other items. We waited for nearly 2 hours, then our salad came out and half an hour later pizza served, which was not crispy but solid and no taste. Other food was so so. Besides, Muslim restaurant should not allow for smoking in their area but here no sign of No Smoking (except for inside with air con of course), so smokers from the nearby tables just fumigated us all along our dinner time. Not impressed!
Review of Panwa House at Cape Panwa Hotel
Set up a steep hill so we took the cape panwa hotel shutle bus to get to the restaurant. Being high up meant we could enjoy the views. The Thai menu was comprehensive, yet not too long. satay and the green curry wee highlights for us. Slightly pricey, but certainly not crazy and ok worth it for the setting, service and decor. They also offer a set menu which is cheaper. Not a place we would dine at everyday, but we would certainly go back there again
