Review of Baan Chom View Restaurant
Go there for sunset for drinks and eats. Can get busy and get there early if you want a prime sunset view table. Waiter was excellent, menu far too long and had too many items listed. The Thai food we had was fine, but lacked that special spark or wow factor. Tables were a bit close together, not that private or romantic. Overall we had a nice time and would go back again.
Review of Ruam Thep Inn Restaurant
Pretty good location, outdoors, close to the beach, liked the lit up trees. Our Thia food was ok, luke warm and portions not big, but we liked that was we could try different dishes without being too full. Price wise reasonable, but as we ordered more dishes due to portion size, the final bill was more than we first thought. Not a serious issue and thought our meal was worth the money. Has the potential to be really good, but was an average meal for us.
Review of Rico’s Steakhouse & Pizzeria Kata
Comprehensive menu, listing steaks, fish and meat European foods, Thai food and pizzas. My steak was grilled and cooked as I requested, served with creamy mash, served on a wooden platter, my companion had steak pizza, with an egg set in the middle, Service was to a higher level than a lot of other Phuket restaurants. Loved sitting outside on the terrace.
Review of Boathouse Wine & Grill
Lucky it was dry so we could dine outside. So relaxing being close to the beach, and we much preferred eating outdoor rather than indoors. Our Wagyu steaks were cooked to perfection and our crepe suzette was delicious. Not a huge menu but had more than adequate with Thai and Western dishes, so something for everyone. Waiter was knowledgeable about wines, which were expensive, also so was the food.
