The Legal Package
Each owner of a Cottage at Kata Beach will receive a transferable, government registered long term lease for a period of thirty years with a possible option to extend for an additional thirty years. This is the only means of legal ownership of property in Thailand open to foreigners. In addition, each owner will receive title to use, of all common property within the compound, This includes the extensive gardens, paths, outdoor Jacuzzis, parking areas, wastewater treatment facilities, etc, The land occupied by the Cottages is secured by a Chanote Title, The most secure title available in Thailand. Upon receipt of a deposit on an individual Cottage, the purchaser shall receive a contract of sale detailing all aspects of payments and entitlements to the property. The title for the lease to be transferred and registered in the purchaser's name upon completion and turn-over of the Cottage.
