With over five years experience in the region, Tawan Cruises has developed partnerships with leading five star hotels and resorts on the island and surrounding areas. Our fleet is based at Phuket’s newest marina – Ao Po Grand Marina, on Phuket’s East Coast which is ideally placed for cruising the island and scenic waters of Phang Nga Bay.

Phang Nga Bay

Heading Northeast from Phuket, a short cruise will take you into Phang Nga National Park. This 400 sq./km water wonderland is truly awe-inspiring, with it's limestone pinnacles rising from calm, misty waters and it's numerous anchorage's to explore, this area combines breath-taking scenery with a sense of true serenity. Phang Nga Bay also boasts a unique rock formation made famous in the James Bond film "The Man with the Golden Gun."

Krabi

Sailing East from Phuket, cruising into clearer waters, the Krabi Province blends the staggering topography of Phang Nga with the stunning coral-fringed islands of the Andaman Sea. Long popular with rock-climbers and beachcombers alike, Krabi's Rai-Le beach is most fully appreciated lying at anchor and watching the spectacular sunset cast it's warm glow across the sand.

Phi Phi Islands

About 40 kilometers southeast of Phuket are perhaps the most famous islands of the area, Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Le. This pair of islands feature spectacular cliffs above the sea, and exquisite beaches and waters below renowned for their diving and snorkeling. On Phi Phi Le you will also find the stunning Maya Bay which was used as the location for the movie ‘The Beach’ starring Leonardo De Caprio.

Similan Islands

The Similan Islands, rated one of the top ten global dive locations in the world, are 50 miles west of Phuket and the NE winds makes these islands an un-missable spectacle with the clearest waters imaginable. Spectacular coral growths and teeming marine life make this a diver’s playground and a holiday which will be remembered for a lifetime.

Surin Islands

A group of five islands, the Surins are home to a community of “Sea Gypsies” as well as the Mu Koh Surin National Park. Game fishing, diving, swimming and snorkeling are excellent, with unspoiled coral reefs and marine life in abundance.

Koh Lanta

Situated between Krabi and Phi Phi on the west coast of the Andaman Sea, the Koh Lanta archipelago includes more than 70 small islands. The main island is six kilometers by 30 kilometers long with gorgeous white sandy beaches. The islands have numerous diving and snorkeling sites, many which are suitable for beginners and children.

Langkawi
