650 G/Flex Epoxy Resin

A toughened, versatile, liquid epoxy for permanent waterproof bonding of fiberglass, ceramics, metals, plastics, damp and difficult-to-bond woods. With a modulus of elasticity of 150,000 PSI, it is a bit more flexible than standard epoxies and polyester, but much stiffer than adhesive sealants. This gives G/flex the ability to make structural bonds that can absorb the stress of expansion, contraction, shock and vibration. It is ideal for bonding dissimilar materials. It can be modified with West System fillers and additives, and used to wet-out fiberglass tapes and fabrics. Mixed at a 1:1 ratio, G/flex gives you 45 minutes of working time at room temperature. It reaches an initial cure in 7 to 10 hrs and full cure in 24 hrs. Sold in set part A & part B

WEST SYSTEM Epoxy Resin

105 Epoxy Resin is the base material of the WEST SYSTEM compounds are built. The resin is a clear, pale yellow, low-viscosity liquid epoxy resin. Formulated for use with WEST SYSTEM hardeners, it can be in a wide temperature range to form a high-strength solid with excellent moisture resistance. 105 Resin is formulated without volatile solvents and does not shrink after curing. It has a relatively high flash point and no strong solvent odor, making it safer to work with than polyester or vinylester resins. Resin viscosity is approxi mately 1000 centipoise (cP) at 72F (22C) 105 Resin is designed apecifically to wet out and bond with wood fiber, fiberglass, reinforcing fabrics and a variety of metals when mixed at the proper ratio with a WEST SYSTEM H206 Slow Hardener is a low-viscosity epoxy curing agent for use when extended working and cure time is needed or to provide adequate working time at higher temperatures. When combined with 105 Resin in a five-part resin to one-part hardener ratio, the cured resin/hardener mixture yields a rigid, high-strength, moisture-resistant solid with excellent bonding and coating properties. Not intended for clear coating.

A two component, polyester based, light-fast, linear aliphatic polyurethane coating with long lasting gloss and color retention, and outstanding chemical resistance. Do no use below the waterline. A low maintenance coating. Do not wax, buff, compound, or polish. Product is sold by the gallon. Mixing and Reduction : SPRAY : Mix by volume one part AWLGRIP Topcoat Base Component with one part AWL-CAT #2/G3010 Spray Converter to a smooth, homogenous mixture. Reduce up to 25% with T0001, T0002, T0003 depending on conditions. Overall mix is 1:1:1/2 by volume. BRUSH/ROLLER : Mix by volume two parts AWLGRIP Topcoat Base Component with one part AWL-CAT #3/H3002 Brushing Converter until one smooth, homogenous mixture is obtained. Reduce 25% to 33% with T0031. Overall mix is 2:1:3/4-1 by volume. VOC : 470g/lt or 3.9 lbs/gallon Packaging : Available in Gallon and Litre containers.

    If you want something for your boat to do your own repairs these are the guys to go to first. If they don’t have the quality product you need it probably is not on the island, cheaper quality elsewhere maybe but not the high end quality stuff

    Not the cheapest place but then quality counts
