Meditation and Yoga retreat in the heart of Buddhist Asia

Karuna Meditation Center is a Buddhist meditation center offering classes and retreats for students of all levels and interests. We have weekly teachings, online audio teachings to help your practice, organized retreats, and residential retreat for dedicated practitioners. All classes are taught in English by western teachers who are or have been Buddhist monks and nuns.

Karuna Meditation Center offers opportunities for individual retreat, organized retreats, and daily practice. A one-month Mahamudra (Nature of Mind) retreat is held every May, and a three-month retreat on the Four Foundations of Mindfulness is held every June through August. All classes and teaching are given in English by experienced practitioners and current or former monks and nuns.
