  1. The Irish Times is located in the Sino Phuket Zone of Jungceylon shopping centre in Patong. This delightful Irish pub offers a relaxed and friendly atmosphere as well as a wide selection of beers including the all important Guiness. You can enjoy some tasty dishes including well prepared steaks, and their Sunday carvery is one of the most popular on the island.

  2. Was recommended this by an expat friend as somewhere to watch the rugby. Unfortunately there was very heavy rain and they lost the satellite signal 20 minutes into the game. Can’t be helped I guess. Had a few pints and then ordered a burger. Very good size and a good portion of chips came with it. Waitresses very cheerful and friendly. All in all a nice place to spend a couple of hours.

  3. Decent Irish pub in Phuket, great atmosphere, friendly staff and they offer free Wifi.
Great food, I would recommend the rib eye steak which perfectly cooked.
We had a nice time there. Well worth a visit!!

  4. We stopped by for a dinner while wondering around Jungceylon. Was happy to see they had Kilkenny on tap. After a few drinks I ordered the ribs which were pretty good. Service was efficient if not that warm and friendly. However, it was a Friday evening and instead of playing something lively and uptempo, they had on some depressing Irish folk songs that just put a downer on everything. It would have been better without any music at all.

  5. This wonderful Irish pub offers a relaxed and great atmosphere with very good Guinness and friendly staff. We definitely go back to enjoy the place with our family.

  6. Great place to watch some live sports. Some good beers on tap and staff are always friendly. Food is your standard pub grub but tasted pretty good and very reasonable prices. After all the spicy food is was nice to get a taste of home.

  7. Went yesterday for their all you can eat Sunday Carvery. Boy it was excellent value at only 449 baht. There was lamb, chicken, beef, ham and pork with stuffing and we could have as much as we wanted, we up for seconds. Plus there was around 5 different veg including roast potatoes, red cabbage and cauliflower with a cheese sauce, lashings of gravy, not to mention apple, mint, horseradish and other sauces. Really could not fault it, apart from a very picky, really minor fussy comment that the mint sauce was too sweet. We certainly enjoyed and recommend without a doubt.

  8. I have been to Irish Times many times, because of the staff are friendly, quick and service is very efficient. Slightly pricier, but the food is great and the portions are big, so looking at both they are still great value for money. Selection is good for both Thai and Western food. You’ll enjoy if for sure.

  9. Ordered the all day irish breakfast, it was massive! but very enjoyable, came with 2 real sausages, not those cheap tasteless frankfurters, that are often served at other places in Phuket, plus there was black pudding, decent taste, thicj sauce baked beans, 2 rashers of bacon which I would have preferred to be more crispy, eggs, toast and a small pot of fresh not instant coffee. I was stuffed afterwards and did not eat a thing for the rest of the day

  10. Well run and managed. The staff were attentive and there was no need to keep trying to get their attention. Had a pint of Magners to go with my Irish Stew, which was hearty with loads of meat but could have been hotter temperature wise.

  11. I was more than happy to spend a few hours here watching sport, had a huge size aussie steak pie. I tried some Irish cider called Magners, it was so good that I ended up drinking over 4. Although my wife was not so happy with me. This bar is part of the Jungceylon Mall in the eating Sino section. I had a cracking time there.

  12. We liked sitting outside. watching the world go by with a few beers and a huge… and I mean a huge plate of tasty lots of melted cheese nachos. Inside was well decorated but dark, I wanted to be in the sunshine.

  13. Sunday’s roast was very good and filling. Casual place, lots of beers to choose from. Great afternoon.

  14. Great breakfast, very good Guinness and wonderful friendly atmosphere. The staff are friendly and nice, will go back again.

  15. Sunday lunch was great! Staff was most efficient and we really enjoyed our afternoon.

  16. Had a great Sunday Roast here. The Yorkshire’s were just right. Beef, gravy and roasted veg all washed down with a ‘real’ beer. Didn’t think you could find that in Phuket? You can at The Irish Times.

  17. Superb Sunday Lunch with a proper carvery and 5 different meats to choose from, or have all 5. Soup starter and a glass of wine included in the price of 399 making it excellent value for money. Friendly staff and great beers on draft made for an enjoyable if not alcoholic lunchtime Will definitely be back. Richard
