Yoonique’s Music Cafe

Ask many of south Phuket’s younger crowd where the best place to party until the early hours of the morning, chances are they’ll say Yoonique’s Stone Music Cafe or simply Yoonique’s to its regulars.

To call this lakeside location rustic would be an understatement but the mishmash of misshapen wooden furniture, ornaments and more fits with the chilled out Rasta way that life is served up at this bar.

The word cafe in the title is a little misleading as although coffee is available during the day, food is only ever served on special occasions.

Yoonique’s regularly features live music from talented local musicians and patrons are free to get up and jam with the band if they’ve got the skills.

The frequent appearance of the uber-popular Thai reggae band Job2Do is another reason why Yoonique’s is a hit and the band’s smash hit ‘Do Ter Tam’ never fails to get the crowd going.
