Churrasco Phuket Steakhouse is located on ‘Restaurant Row’ in Phuket’s landmark Jungceylon Mall in Patong. With its South American theme, the restaurant features a wide variety of fine imported Wagyu and Black Angus steaks, such as classic Tenderloin, Ribeye, Striploin, Flank & T-Bone/Porterhouse cuts – all at very affordable and reasonable prices.
The signature house specialities are two Brazilian-style Wagyu beef cuts – a ‘Maminha’ rump tip, and a ‘Picanha’ D-rump. Both are 500-day grainfed Wagyu steaks, marble score 5-8. The third specialty is a cut called ‘Solomillo de Ternera’, which is a 500-day grainfed Top-Tender Wagyu Steak cut against the grain. Steaks are available in several sizes, some up to half a kilo each, and are slow char grilled.
Churrasco Phuket Steakhouse imports all its beef ‘deep-chilled’, never frozen. Once accepted at the restaurant, all steaks are further aged in-house in a temperature-controlled environment, then grilled a-la-minute.
The menu also features several fiery grill items, such as pork chops, lamb rump steaks, mixed meat skewers, and a variety of home-made artisan sausages. Starters comprise of several soups – including a signature Gazpacho Andaluz – and a variety of hearty salads.
To round it all off, a small gourmet beef section offers a Wagyu Beef Cheek dish slow-cooked in a red wine sauce, an Argentinian Beef Stew, and a classic Chili Con Carne. Seafood lovers can enjoy ‘Gambas al Ajillo’ (Cuban Garlic Prawns) and a pan roasted salmon steak.
The extensive drinks list includes a full choice of Argentinian, Chilenian, French, Italian and Spanish wines, along with some of Phuket’s best Latino Cocktails, and a prime selection of premier Russian Vodkas – including the famous Beluga & Imperia brands.
