Review of Cherngtalay Municipality Sport Center Swimming Poo

Feeling good and very happy that there is a sports center near my house. No need to go to Phuket town or be a member of a private club anymore. Not only a large indoor swimming pool, fitness and sauna are also available. Although there are many people using the service on weekends especially children, might be noisy, but still okay.

If not mention the location which located in Thalang area. This is the best health center that I ever find in Thailand. I’m not kidding. Their swimming pool is really a world class standard. The temperature can be adjust. They got 3 pools. The world standard one, the medium size and for the kids. If you are already a member there. The membership must include this pool.

Review of PPAO Sports Club Swimming Pool

May say that this pool is good and very suits for our family. It opened for general people without membership, just only access fee per person per time; adult 20 baht, child 10 baht. Clean separate bathrooms & toilets between men and women. Lockers are also available. Sometimes the pool’s floor is not clean many swimming classes are held here, but still acceptable.

Review of Alan Cooke Cricket Ground

Watched the international sixes tournament here earlier in the year. Being Phuket’s only cricket ground its not bad with a decent clubhouse which has a bar upstairs with a great vantage point. Its great to see cricket being promoted in Thailand and especially Phuket and I wish them all the best.

Weekly or monthly gatherings of expats who take to the beach for a volleyball tournament or get together to play football or rugby is popular.

These informal clubs are usually formed through word of mouth, local internet forums or by members of existing clubs and associations.
