Kata : Currency Exchange
Booths and kiosks can be found in most of the popular tourists areas. Banks can also provide currency exchange.
Some charge commission so it is best to ask before the transaction takes place. A passport or valid identification is usually required and old, ripped or faded notes may be rejected.
Avoid changing money at hotels as these will charge excessive commission.
