2.5 out of 5 based on 2 reviews.
Thalang, North Phuket

Khao Pra Taew Wildlife Conservation has its office located at the entrance of Ton Sai Waterfall Phuket. This conservation mainly covers around 2,333 hectare forested mountains from Ton Sai Waterfall to Bang Pae Waterfall. It is surrounded by some local villages, rubber and fruit plantations and rural roads. Some animals and rare plants can still be seen and tourists have to contact the office for jungle trekking.

  1. We went there for a jungle trekking with a safari tour company. We started from trekking from this conservation office and walk for nearly 2 hours. The jungle was ok with some large trees and tropical plants but we don’t think they still have wildlife there.

  2. The area around wildlife conservation office and its Ton Sai waterfall nearby was well maintained, clean and very shady with many big trees, I like the atmosphere; cool and fresh air. Don’t expect much about the waterfall cos it is not that huge and not much water maybe a lot during rainy season! I don’t know how dense the wildlife is but I hardly heard even a bird except noisy cicadas voice. Good to come for fresh air and green forest, not the best but not bad at all.
