Ceramic Kitchen Bar and Restaurant
3.5 out of 5 based on 6 reviews.
Cherng Talay, North Phuket

The Ceramic Kitchen Bar and Restaurant is an unusual, nice dinning place set around 3 km on the right hand side of the main Srisoonthorn Road heading from the Heroines Monument Traffic Circle towards Cherng Talay. It is positioned in Baan Manik, on the right hand just before the Manik Temple. This bar and restaurant features a good variety of Western and Thai foods and also has a kids menu. It has a courtyard area, a long bar that has a sports channel TV, a ceramic shop area, garden, and a large dinning area. Sometimes there is a live band. Being large it is well suited for parties and social functions

  1. Had a few bottles of heineken with some mates. We tucked into some thick potato wedges and a plateful of cheesey nachos. We sat on stools at the big long bar. We had the place to ourselves.

  2. I went there only once. I love the decoration of this restaurant with a very charming clay house. Very nice to be in such great atmosphere while listening to live music. However, the foods were okay to me but it is not that outstanding when comparing to their price. As there are also many restaurants in Laguna area that offer similar things with better prices.

  3. Was pleasantly surprised with my meal, as the menu went on for pages, this I have found often means with so many dishes listed none are cooked well, but this was not the case here. Not that busy, and being a large restaurant I felt a bit lost. After my meal I had a beer at the bar, while listening to the band. They were professional and kept playing, despite not many customers.

  4. It doesn’t look like a restaurant from outside plus it’s located in the darkest, most remote section of the road, so you can easily miss it. But if you do manage to locate the place you will be rewarded with a solid menu of Western food at very reasonable prices. Chicken balti, lamb shanks, bangers and mash are a few of my favourites. Draft beer washes it all down well and if you’re visiting on a weekend you could be in for some live music.

I would have given it 5 stars, but I’ve been there a few times and found the place shut for no apparent reason :-(

  5. Lovely restaurant with great food. A bit unusual as its part of a pottery. Service is always good and prices are very reasonable. Its not easy to find as it doesn’t look like a restaurant from the road and not much signage.

  6. Went there on Sunday for the Sunday roast after a recommendation from a friend. I had the roast chicken which was half a chicken whilst my wife had the been which she says was perfectly cooked

Great value for money although the service was a little slow and the staff had problems understanding if you wanted anything different from the norm
