Review of Boathouse Wine & Grill
Lucky it was dry so we could dine outside. So relaxing being close to the beach, and we much preferred eating outdoor rather than indoors. Our Wagyu steaks were cooked to perfection and our crepe suzette was delicious. Not a huge menu but had more than adequate with Thai and Western dishes, so something for everyone. Waiter was knowledgeable about wines, which were expensive, also so was the food.
Review of Cafe Java@Rawai Beach
Chicken satay was really nice with the dipping peanut sauce, beef stroganoff with pasta, was ok the strips of beef could have been more tender. The highlight was the orange crepe suzette it was devine! Staff were lovely and pleasant.
Review of Wine Connection @Banana Walk Phuket
While I’m not a wine connoisseur, I still think this is the go to place in Phuket if you want a meal with a staggering amount of choices in wine. I was seated at the second floor terrace which offered a great view of the bay. The service was fast and excellent. I highly recommend people to try out their steak, it was cooked to perfection. I’ll definitely want to come back here if given the opportunity.
Review of Tablespoon Restaurant Chalong
Just been here with friend who living nearby. Nice restaurant with convenience location if you live in Chalong or if you come around there for food. Good atmosphere and food was acceptable. Has a good selection of Thai & Western food. But sometime service could be better.
There is a sizable French expat community in Phuket and French cuisine can be found at many restaurants. Some eateries are owned by French expats and have become local favorites. The choice will depend on budget and location as they range from moderate to expensive.
