Vegans and Vegetians travelers looking for vegetarian food should try the Lotus Vegetarian Restaurant at Samkong, near to the centre of Phuket Town. Driving away from Phuket Town after passing Vachira Hospital, after a few minutes drive turn left at Yaowarat Soi 4 which has an extra large Family Mart at it’s enterance, go straight to the end of the road and turn left, the Lotus Restaurant is on the right hand side at the corner of Soi Prayoon 3. Here guests can try various refreshing homemade herbal drinks, and Thai style vegetarian dishes in a clean and airy setting.

  1. Small and friendly. the indoor lighting is bright and would be better if softer and warmer. I am not a vegetarian but eat here now and again to give my body a rest from meat proteins, the food is good and varied, but I am not so keen on the herbal drinks

  2. One of my close friend is vegetarian, so I often come here. We always had a great meal. Our favorite order is copy duck in coconut milk with Thai herb, Tom Yam and Deep Fried Mushroom. Price quite high but worth it for clean food and very good quality ingredients. Recommended for both vegetarian and not vegetarian, I believe you will not disappointed.

  3. I am a serious vegetarian. I often have vegetarian food here in the evening. Not difficult to find, just a minute drive along the road beside Bangkok International Hospital. I like their decor with natural style making me relaxed while dining. My favourite dish is Sua Rong Hai and many other options all are tasteful. If you are vegetarian or just love vegetarian food, I’m sure you will be happy here.

  4. I’m not a vegetarian but always have vegetarian food, and this restaurant is one of my most visited. 500 metres from Bangkok Phuket Hospital. 2 zones; indoor with air-con and outdoor sitting. Every menu made from vegetable and tofu, look real and very yummy. Recommend to try Kua Gling Het (dry curry with kaffir lime and lemongrass made with mushrooms)
