Nikita’s Beach Restaurant

Rawai, South Phuket

Southern Phuket’s best kept secret, Nikita’s at Rawai is one of the island’s favourite watering holes.
The absolute seafront, garden sala café-bar with fantastic island views, a shady setting and deliciously cool sea breeze is unbeatable for relaxing away balmy afternoons and evenings. Time means nothing at Nikita’s.

Located on peaceful Rawai Beach, Nikita’s well-trained team offers real Thai hospitality to guests – who sit happily, daydreaming for hours, observing life on the water and chatting with friends.

The extensive menu of authentic Thai specialty meals, light snacks and western favourites – along with a quality selection of fine wines by the glass, cool cocktails, icy cold beers, delicious fruit shakes, an excellent coffee menu and service with a smile – seems to be a winner with visitors and the many frequent locals who make Nikita’s a second home.

  1. Nikita' is one of those rare places where you can while away the hours with good food and reasonably priced drinks in a chilled out setting. It has been the favourite hangout for many of Phuket's visitors and expats for over two decades. The restaurant enjoys a splendid location on the beachfront at Rawai with stunning view of the islands across the bay. Dishes on their extensive menu range from authentic Thai food to western favourites including one of the best pizzas in the south of the island. Cocktails are also a highlight as is the warm friendly service. You can find Nikita's at the eastern end of the beach road in Rawai.

  2. Great place to just chill out with a beer or cocktail either during the day or at sunset

Food is great and they have the best Prawn cakes in Phuket

All that plus friendly staff make for an enjoyable experience

  3. A very nice waterfront restaurant. Food is good, but the setting makes the place.

  5. Well recommend the not too spicy Thai, Muslim chicken massaman curry and the seafood pizza, here you can eat right by the beachside, without the meal or drinks costing an arm or leg.

  7. I am a regular to Nikita’s and it never fails to serve well cooked, hot, fair priced food, all the staff are friendly. I like to wind here on a Friday after a busy working week eating a wood fired pizza and having a few beers while looking at out over Rawai beach

  8. Has a nice, relaxed chill out atmosphere. Nice to dine somewhere by the water, which is reasonable in price and service. We had steamed lemon fish with rice and papaya salad, washed down with a bottle of Aussie Shiraz. Being close to the water mosquitoes were a slight problem, until a member of staff came to our rescue with insect repellent!

  9. A lovely causal, cool place with a relaxing atmosphere. We ordered the fish and chips. I am not sure what type of fish it was but it was fresh and thick and was coated in a thin crisp batter. It was delicious. The chips were ok, but not wow and did not meet the high standard of the fish. We liked the little touches such as providing malt vinegar to go wit our meal and that staff helped us find a parking space when we arrived. Staff were friendly and well organized. Those that spoke good English took our order and the other staff served food.
