Savoey Seafood

Patong, West Phuket

One of the main landmarks of Patong Beach Road, the well known for fresh seafood and Thai menu Savoey Seafood Restaurant has been in operation for over 20years and consists of a large pavilion that has a Thai style roof. There are open air and air-conditioned dining sections here. Recommended items are including charcoal grilled, baked big lobster with garlic and butter sauce and the famous spicy soup, Tom Yam Koong and for vegetarians the Green Mushroom and Vegetable Curry. This large 400 seater Thai and Chinese restaurant is well placed on Thaweewong Beach Road also known as Patong Beach Road. It is within a few metres of Patong Beach and is a few steps from the ocean end of Bangla Road night walking street.

  1. Easy to find steps from Bangla Road, It is on the Patong beach road but do not expect much of a view! Choose a fresh lobster from out of one of the tanks, it was pricey over 1700 baht, and it was not that big. A big restaurant which seemed to aim to get as many tourist as possible to eat, felt like a factory. Staff were fine, the live band ok but nothing outstanding, the same we thought applied to the food. Guess not really the r type of dining experience we were looking for.

  2. Very famous restaurant but just try once with friend from Australia. My friend really like Thai Food here, he said the best one is green curry with chicken. For myself, I think so so (not Thai taste) and too expensive for Thai people like me.

  3. When my family came to visit I brought them here. “SAVOEY” is considered one of the leader seafood restaurant in Phuket, always very busy with both “Thais and Farangs”. Its not cheap, and the waiters didn’t smile. Only good thing is their many menus; has seafood, vegetarian and kid’s…we are a big family.

  4. A typical Thai seafood restaurant that is simple, loud (outside) and quieter inside the air-con section.
Most of the seafood is live in tanks and you can choose they way you want it cooked, grilled, sauteed, etc.
Service is hit and miss… and the prices don’t equal quantity and value of seafood.
