Dibuk French Restaurant
4.1 out of 5 based on 12 reviews.
Phuket Town, Phuket Town & Central

Located in Dibuk Road in the Old Sino-Portuguese building part of Phuket Town the Dibuk Restaurant offers a classic, authentic French and Thai food. Many dishes such as the duck pate are homemade. Being set in an old building gives it a homely, warm atmosphere and makes it suitable for causal or cosy couple dinning. Some of the dishes on the fairly long menu are Boar, Steak, Frogs Legs, Onion Soup, Salmon and Pork Chops.

  1. Dibuk French Restaurant is a lovely little place that I can’t recommend enough. Thai food is available but I would go for the traditional French cooking. Frog legs, buttery potatoes, always excellent!

  2. The Thai woman owner/chef Nok was so welcoming, waiting staff smartly dressed in white amd blue tops and black trousers.Menu was Thai and French had croc, boar, duck and frog legs on the menu. Rustic decor with pale yellow walls and wooden chairs and tables with table cloths, We ate outside under a ceiling fan as we liked looking out onto the road which is lined old building and has non of those ugly power lines which spoil the look of many streets in Phuket Town. Keep space for one of their crepes for dessert. We shared one. Only negative the waiting staff spent too much time looking at us, gave us an uncomfortable feeling.

  3. If you love steak and French dish, Dibuk is just the restaurant located in the Phuket town. In the area at the night time is pretty quiet. It good to have romantice dinner with you love one. Walk along the old Phuket town in the evening and have stake at Dibuk is the most recommend.

  4. In the old part of Phuket Town, on Dibuk Rd. Had cute cosy feel, warm yellow coloured walls with pics and wall lights, plus flowers placed around. The restaurant was not that busy when went. Staff were smart in a neat style uniform and polite. We enjoyed our steak with pepper sauce, although we were tempted to try the crocodile but were not brave enough… maybe next time. We were happy inside but there was a small area with 2 tables facing the street where we could eat if we wished

  5. I been there with friends and we love their traditional French cooking. We also like their interior design while enjoying a good selection of wine. Wonderful dishes in Thai and French style impressed us. This restaurant made our dinner in Phuket Town enjoyable.

  6. Recommended by a taxi driver. Homely feel restaurant in a Sino Portuguese style building on Dibuk Road or known as Phuket Old Town road. I and my son sat at a comfortable outside table to watch people passing by. Our steak was well prepared and tender, the beef quality was good and the sauce was delicious. My only complaint was that one waitress looks like being in a bad mood. All in all, good value for money.

  7. The pork chops in mushroom sauce were good. Big portion. Kind of cozy place but felt more international/thai than french. Just saying.

  8. Traditional French cooking here and French portions too! :-) Very tasty and even some good recommendations on wines to go with our meal. Good to have another good choice for dinner in Phuket Town.

  9. Great food and fantastic choice of wine and best bread roll ever! :)

  10. great spot, very nice interior, friendly stuff.
    a good selection of dishes,
the portions small (compared to the other restaurants), unreasonably expensive.

  11. mix of Thai and French dishes and good choices for wines. Inside one of the Sino-Portugese style shops . Friendly staff. Reasonable.

  12. An absolute gem of a place. French and Thai food is top notch. Very cozy place.
