Uptown Restaurant

Phuket Town, Phuket Town & Central

Uptown Restaurant, Phuket Town is a popular lunch spot for locals and also expats who come for shopping or dining in Phuket Town. We serve an extensive food of authentic Thai and local dishes such as Kuay Teaw Lord, Gyo Pla, Ba Mee Tom Yum Kai. Available drinks include shakes, juices and beers. We are open during 10.00 am to 9.00 pm, and closed every Wednesday. Finding us is easy by driving from the Royal Phuket City Hotel heading towards the indoor Expo Market and we are on the corner at the traffic light, right opposite the Expo Market.

  1. I have been eating at Uptown for years. They serve tasty inexpensive local food including one of the best pad thais on the island. Its usually quite busy but the service is pretty quick. You really can’t go wrong here.

  4. I love this restaurant! I always drop here if I go to Phuket Town. It is just a few minutes drive from Robinson. You can ask Tuk-tuk, I believe everyone knows Uptown. I like all menus, especially Pad Thai in egg. Agree with above clean and quick even busy.

  5. After getting tired with walking and shopping at Robinson or Phuket Expo, I like to dine here. Opposite ex Thavorn Grand Plaza Hotel on Tilok-Utit Road, right on a corner of the traffic light. I saw they become more hi-tech; the waitress took our order via a touchpad! Popular menus for us are noodles, suki and pad thai, most are between 50-60 baht price range. Very busy between lunch time (11.00-13.00) so the best time to go there is after the office rush hours.
