  1. We recently ate here after a day at the beach in Bangtao. The restaurant has a lovely open-air setting and it was not hot at all in the evening. Service was warm and efficient. They have a kids menu and our daughter had a pizza that would have been filling enough for an adult, plus there is a free ice cream included in the price. Other dishes were very tasty and filling as well. Drink prices were very reasonable. We were pleasantly surprised when the bill came. Excellent value.

  2. Good for a 3 kid family like us. They had a kid menu, our kids ate burgers and Swedish meatballs, and their ice creams they ate in a blink of an eye! Staff were friendly and made a fuss of the kids. We had Thai green curry with rice and veg with a few beers . We had a most pleasant, time.

  3. We stayed opposite the Bistro at the Bangtao Beach Chalet and ate her a couple of times during our holiday. Service was warm and friendly and food was pretty good but perhaps a little overpriced. Nice place to have a few drinks too. Probably the best restaurant in that part of the island considering the limited options around.

  4. Nice looking, comfortable seating restaurant. Fittings and furniture looked new,. We thought a new restaurant but Patrick the really friendly owner advised us that it had been refurbished a few months ago. We mixed Swedish with Thai. Starters we had skagen toast, which was shrimps in a creamy mayonnaise with toast and dill, it was fine but would have liked a better side salad to go with it. For main we had chicken yellow curry with fried mixed veg. The coconut milk in the curry took the edge of the spiciness and was prefect for our taste.
