Review of Office Mate @Phuket
Find it useful to purchase copying paper for the office as located in the car park area. Easy to take items to the car, expect for weekends when the car park is overflowing with cars. Good for all stationery needs and often has special offers and deals on items. In general goes for lower prices than quality. Check out staff always smile.
Review of Jungceylon
Went here as it was raining. Thought this mall was strange and poorly designed as it consists of a number for buildings, that we could not get too unless we went outside and got wet! The drains could not cope and staff had to use large wipe blade like brooms to clear some of the walkways that became flooded. Difficult to know what was in each building. Mainly brand big name shops, nothing really different Postives, easy to park, had a big c supermarket and there were massage shops in the basement which were not expensive but not that quiet, many Chinese having foot massages. Had a good selection of restaurants and eating options.
Review of Anthony’s Boutique
This place was recommended by one of my Thai friends and I’m glad I followed his advice on where to get a tailored suit. The staff was highly attentive to make sure you were comfortable while browsing inside the shop. There were a lot of fabrics to choose from as well, so there’s something for everybody at Anthony’s. I also ended up buying a few shirts as well since they were perfect to match with my newly tailored suit.
Review of Tesco Lotus Supercenter (By-pass Road)
The Tesco Lotus Supercenter is set in a big complex along with banks, eateries (including MK) and HomePro. Within Tesco there are electronics and toy departments, but most of the store is a large Western-style supermarket selling a large variety of groceries. The location is convenient on Phuket’s Bypass Road and the car park is very large. Even so, it can take a while to find a space on Saturday morning or afternoon.
As Phuket grows in popularity as a world known destination so does the number of products available at thousands of businesses that keep the economy going.
Supermarket chains are now stocked with hundreds of imported food items familiar to foreigners living and visiting Phuket.
Specialty shops selling imported wines, cheeses, meats and other hard to find items can also be found in Phuket.
Shopping malls are filled with high-end brand name stores and small shops are a fun way of discovering a bargain.
Clothing and shoe purchases for foreigners may be challenging due to the limited sizes available but flip-flops and t-shirts can be found in larger sizes.
Most shops accept credit cards while some impose a 3-5% surcharge if not using cash.
