Takua Pa : Beachwear
Pack light when travelling to Phuket and purchase shorts, t-shirts, polo shirts, flip-flops, towels, swimsuits, sarongs and all other beachwear items on the island. Prices are reasonable and though the quality and origin may be dubious, most clothing will last more than a week.
T-shirts can be found at almost every other shop in the Patong area and at the street stalls in the evenings.
Beach vendors are plentiful and willing to bargain to unload the latest in sarongs, t-shirts and shorts.
Higher-end beachwear can be found at several shops on the island as well as in the clothing areas of the major department stores located at the shopping malls.
