Tailor shops are plentiful in Phuket and play a large part in the tourism trade. Visitors to Phuket can have most clothing items made to order in a few days and usually for much less than any European or US counterpart.
Made to measure evening wear, trousers, dresses, tuxedos and form fitting shirts can all be sewn up after the customer selects the many types of materials and colors on offer.
Many of these shops have hotel pick-up service and are known for their good workmanship and quality. It is recommended customers go through several fittings before the final stitching’s to ensure a great fit.
