Review of Swensen’s Ice-Cream @Tesco Lotus Phuket

I often go this place with my friends, great ice cream and not expensive. I prefer to order the birthday set because they will take a photo for us. So pretty and love it.

Review of Swensen’s Ice-Cream @Tesco Lotus Phuket

Fast service & friendly staff. Often visit Swensen’s due to me (oops) my son like ice cream very much. He loves every kind of ice cream. It will be busy most weekends, very crowded.

Review of Food Haven @Jungceylon

Much better than before. I had checked it out when on holiday in Patong not long after Jungceylon opened and was severely disappointed, both with the taste and selection on offer, not to mention the rather extortionate prices. They have done it up nicely and although the prices are still a bit high, the various types of dishes on offer has improved a great deal and the few dishes I tried were pretty decent.

Review of Food Haven @Jungceylon

Stop here for lunch after finish movie at Jungceylon. Many food stalls with a variety of food. A bit pricey when compared with food court at other department stores. Rice and 2 curries is 70 baht while fruit juice is 30-40 baht per glass.

Always a lively topic that comes up with most residents living in Phuket. Not long ago there were only a few shops that catered to foreign food tastes. Today business is thriving and shoppers can find Australian and Japanese beef, Swiss cheese, Maine lobster or any other item one may crave.

Most large supermarket chains have dedicated aisles of imported goods.

Bakeries and pastry shops have popped up all over Phuket and sell high quality goods found in the shops in Europe.

Another source to find foreign items is through food wholesalers that sell their goods to the public.
