Always a lively topic that comes up with most residents living in Phuket. Not long ago there were only a few shops that catered to foreign food tastes. Today business is thriving and shoppers can find Australian and Japanese beef, Swiss cheese, Maine lobster or any other item one may crave.
Most large supermarket chains have dedicated aisles of imported goods.
Bakeries and pastry shops have popped up all over Phuket and sell high quality goods found in the shops in Europe.
Another source to find foreign items is through food wholesalers that sell their goods to the public.
