Koh Pu : Rafting
White water rafting can be done on the mainland, about a 90 km drive from Phuket. This newer excursion is gaining popularity among visitors who travel to the Phang Nga River for a 5-10 km run down the rapids cutting through the dense jungle.
The best white water runs occurs from June through November and tour companies have experienced guides who provide training before the trip.
These tours can be extended to full day adventures with visits to a wildlife sanctuary and an elephant trek through the jungle.
