Hong by StarilightOur famous “Natural History By Sea Kayak” trip to the caves and hidden lagoons (“Hongs” in Thai) in Phang Nga Bay. We depart mid-day from phuket to avoid the crowds of James Bond Island companies who stop at a couple of caves just to call themselves “SeaCanoe” and stay until after dark. Highlights include the caves and lagoons, veggie lunch, Thai-seafood dinner with Thai traditional teas,“Best meal of our entire vacation”, self-paddle break and an after dark Loi Kratong ceremony – make your own Kratong and enjoy the sparkling plankton. |

Day in the IslandTake a Fast Longtail boat and circumnavigate the entire Bay in just one day. Paddle your own hardshell sea kayak (sit-on-top or decked kayak)with English-speaking experienced guides and circumnavigate rarely visited limestone islands. Depart Ao Po pier at 9AM and return at 5PM. You receive paddle training, and enjoy a fully prepared hot lunch on a island in the middle of the Bay. Plenty of time for swimming, lots of cold drinks/snacks and nature explanations. Our experienced guides go with you along the way. |

Hands down the best tour in Phuket! Our guide was great, very knowledgeable and a really top bloke. Going through some of the caves, the ceiling was so low I thought we wouldn’t make it. John Gray’s avoids the same places as the other tours so you miss crowds and feels much more special. Going into the cave at night was amazing. I’ve recommended this tour to all my friends and family when visiting Phuket and they’ve all loved it.

Awesome!! We had done a few package tours in Phuket and although we were looking forward to it, we weren’t expecting it to be this good. The whole experience from start to finish was excellent. It was informative, fun, educational and all-in-all a great afternoon of adventure. Even the food was delicious. Our guide might well have been the worlds nicest man to boot.
