Kata Nightlife

It is sometimes hard to know where Karon ends and Kata starts but as a rule of thumb Kata is south of the hill. That said the town is so spread out it is really located at either end of Kata Beach with all the activity on the road that runs parallel with the beach behind Club Med.

At the north end of Kata there are a number of very good restaurants and a handful of locations with live music. At the top of the small hill you will find Dino Park Crazy Golf that is open all day but much more fun to play at night with its dinosaurs peering out of the dark.

There are a handful of beer bars at the bottom of the hill but their numbers are dwindling. It is the Southern end of Kata that is the most lively with many restaurants to choose from, live music venues and numerous bars that show all the main sporting events.
