D R Lanta Bay Resort

In a beachside location, the D.R. Lanta Bay Resort is set in over 2 acres of land, and is placed on white Klong Dao beach. The nearby, more popular Pra Ae beach, can access in around 5 minutes by car. About 1.5 km away is Saladan Pier, a few banks, local restaurants and a small tourist centre where guests can find out about nearby attractions and book some tours if they so desire. Within a short walk from Saladan Pier is a walking street market, which has local product, beach clothing and souvenir stalls. For those who wish to visit Lanta National Marine Park, they can get there via 30 minutes car journey from the resort. For those that enjoy going back into the past an approximately 25 minute drive will transport them to Lanta Old Town, where guests can observe and take part in local life. Accommodation consists of bungalows and rooms. Bungalows are set in the grounds, all have air con and a private relaxing balcony. They range in size from 20 sqm to 24 sqm. Rooms are located in a building, they are around 20 sqm and have air con. Wireless internet is available in all accommodation and in some public places. An onsite restaurant is set by the beachside and serves tasty seafood, international and Thai cuisines. For those that are not keen to go on the beach, there is a good size, kidney shaped outdoor pool with sun beds and parasols surrounding it that guests can use and enjoy.
