The Tenta Nakara Resort is secluded in the scenic tropical landscape gardens of the stunning Nakha Yai Island, which is located off Phuket's East Coast. Guests can take a longtail boat from Ao Po Pier and reach the tranquil Island in 20 minutes. The resort is a small, budget value and peaceful property built with natural materials and thatched roofs. Rooms are fairly basic and bungalow style with wooden flooring, a raised 6 foot bed, en suite bathroom with shower, wash basin, flush toilet, and no air conditioning, however, guests can cool down with the fresh sea breeze coming in from their own private balconies overlooking the charming Phang Nga Bay. An elegant oceanfront restaurant serves a variety of Thai and European dishes whilst island cocktails can be enjoyed at the lively bar. It is a good base for those expecting to relax in their own hideaway retreat.
