Introduction to Tha Makham

Less than a 10 minute drive up north of Kanchanaburi city centre is tranquil Tha Makham district where the Kwai River flows through. Visitors has a wide selection of accommodation that range from 2-5 star quality and most of them are sited alongside the river. The famous historical Bridge over the River Kwai is the outstanding landmark of Tha Makham.
