Introduction to Bang Sak Beach

Bang Sak Beach is the northernmost beach of Khao Lak and most of the beaches here including this beach are named after its villages. Bang Sak Beach is not only popular for local people but also for general visitors who seek for a quiet seaside picnicking and relaxation spot. The beach itself is good enough for swimming, sunbathing or beach jogging. Several luxurious beach resorts and some 3 star boutique hotels are available in and around this area. Parallel to the main highway route number 4, between Thap Tawan Beach and Pakarang Cape, Bang Sak Beach is about an hour taxi ride from Phuket International Airport. There are not many seafood restaurants or bars by the beach, but some can be discovered along the road that leads to the beach area. Those who rent a motorbike or car are able to find more eateries and various bars along the more developped beaches like Khuk Khak and Bang Niang Beach.
