Introduction to Nang Thong Beach

One of the very developed beaches of Khao Lak is Nang Thong Beach which is the colsest beach to the town centre area. There are many luxuriant and boutique style resorts to suit different types of visitors and most of them are mainly situated along the shoreline. Some accommodation in the southern tip of this beach are situated higher on a hillside and have better seaviews. Sunbathing, jogging, swimming or many other beach activities are possible at Nang Thong Beach. The entrance of the tropical rainforest Khao Lak – Lam Ru National Park where jungle lovers can enjoy trekking and experiencing various plants and some wildlife is only a mere 5 minutes drive uphill away. Apart from getting to the forest, other beaches either the ones in the northern area or the quieter one in the south are all easily reachable by hiring a motorbike or car. Several waterfalls with fresh air and a relaxing atmosphere are not more than 15 minutes car ride from this beach.
