Introduction to Bailan Beach

Adjacent to the south end of Kai Bae Beach, the tranquil beach of Bailan Bay is about 12 km long and this is a heaven for those who love to bask or laze on a peaceful beach. Bailan Beach is positioned on the southwestern coast of Koh Chang and there are some standard resorts and bungalows available here for various visitors to choose from. It takes around 20 minutes by car from the main ferry pier while nearby points of interest like a high hillside viewpoint and the fisherman’s village of Bang Bao Bay is less than 5 km away. Other tourist points like the elephant camp at Klong Prao Beach, sunset viewpoint at Chai Chet Cape and the major night entertainment area at White Sand Beach are all within 15 minutes car journey. Some parts of the small hilly road on Koh Chang is quite steep and has many multi sharp curves, so please ride slowly and carefully.
