Introduction to Lonely Beach

Lonely Beach or also called Tha Nam Beach is one of the most famous beaches of Koh Chang. It is on the southwestern side of the island, between Kai Bae Beach and Bai Lan Beach. The ferry pier to mainland, Sapparod Bay Pier is reachable by approximately 20 minute car ride away. The topography of Lonely Beach is an almost secluded bay with a straight sandy beach with crystal clear water, while the beach backdrop is lush tropical rain-forest. Some hut style accommodation and several beachfront resorts are ready to provide their best service to every visitor. Getting to this beach is only by driving along a concrete road which is rather steep and has many sharp curves, however, it’s still worth visiting especially for those who love tranquility. The livelier beaches of the island like Klong Prao and White Sand Beach with its plenty of shops, restaurants and entertainment sites are accessible by within 10 minutes car journey to the north from Lonely Beach.
