Introduction to Klong Nin Beach

Located on the southwestern coastline of Lanta Yai Island, Klong Nin Beach is approximately 15 km from Saladan Pier which is the main gateway to this island. About half an hour drive along the road to the national park, you will reach the 2 km stretch of the white sand Klong Nin Beach, which has lush green mountain background. There are several shady spots under swaying palm trees where travelers can lay down with some books. As this beach area is quite broad and flat, so both local and international visitors usually enjoy playing beach sports such as Frisbee, Takraw, beach football and volleyball here. Crystal clear water allows good opportunity for snorkeling right from the shallow zone from the beach to the deeper area. There are several local beer bars and restaurants alongside the waterfront, making it perfect for seating back to admire the sunset. Along the seashore is the collection of tropical style bungalows and resorts, some also have spa treatment for those who like this kind of relaxation.
