Introduction to Ao Nai Wok

Ao Nai Wok is tranquil bay located just a kilometer or less than 5 minutes car ride to the north of Thong Sala Main Pier. This is more like a bay than a sandy beach and along its shore there are enough shades of a line of coconut and pine trees for those who prefer to spend their relaxation time around. It is one of the good spots to view impressive sunset as well as distant scenery of Tae Nai and Tae Nok Island. Swimming in the sea here is not great but possible especially during the high tidal season during April-November. One of the popular activities at this bay is kayaking and kayak facilities are available for rent at some resorts and bungalows along or near to the bay. Around 80 meters away from the seashore are the abundant colorful fishes and coral reefs which allow skin divers to enjoy their snorkeling. An additional interesting trip is getting to the nearby Koh Ma which is a very good spot for snorkeling by hiring a long tail boat.
