Introduction to Chao Phao Beach

There are several good sunset points on the western beaches of Koh Pha Ngan and one of the them is Chao Phao Beach, which is set between Yao Beach and Laem Son. It is accessible by about 30 minutes car ride from the main pier of Thong Sala. The 600-meter long stretch of golden white sand beach is mostly dotted with coconut trees offering leafy shade for beach lovers to lay down for relaxation. You will find here simplistic style bungalows scattered along a lush gentle slope of a hill or over the area near to the beach. Visitors will enjoy swimming and snorkeling to see abundant coral and some marine life which are discoverable only 100 meters away from the beach. The best period to travel to this island is during February-April. Most travelers will not miss Full Moon Party which is held once a month at Rin Nok Beach which is nearly an hour car ride away.
