Introduction to Son Beach

Situated on the northwestern coast of Koh Pha Ngan, between Chao Phao and Sri Thanu Beach, Son Beach is accessible by about 15 minutes drive north from Thong Sala Major Pier. This small, quiet beach is located against forested hillside backdrop and most part of the beach itself comes with swaying coconut trees. There is only a mid range seaside resort at the northern tip of the beach which is a hilly area. However, there are many more accommodation along neighbouring beach of Had Yao which is less than 400 meters away. Haad Son is one of the very tranquil and undeveloped beaches of Pha Ngan Island and it is a very good option for those who wish to escape from other busier areas.
