Introduction to Thong Nai Pan Beach

Thong Nai Pan Beach is located on the northeastern side of Pha Ngan Island and it is about 23 km from Thong Sala Major Pier. The road that leads visitors to this curve shaped bay is rather rough especially during rainy season, thus it is highly recommended to get there by boat from Chaloklum Bay or Rin Beach. Thong Nai Pan is formed by twin tranquil beaches and this characteristic makes it one of the most attractive holiday destinations on the east of the island. The two beaches consist of Had Thong Nai Pan Noi and Had Thong Nai Pan Yai. The first one is busier with its nightlife spots, local bars, restaurants and number of accommodation. The latter comes with a longer stretch of the soft white sand beach and has unspoiled lush green jungle along the shoreline. The majority of resorts around these beaches area are situated amongst greenery of tropical trees and they are within a short walking distance to the beach. Adventurers are able to try a soft trekking through several jungle trails along which there are some interesting tropical plants while some paths lead travelers to several small waterfalls including Wang Thong and Than Sadet Waterfalls.
