Introduction to Nadan Pier

Within a 30 minute boat ride from Ban Pae Pier, travelers will reach Nadan Pier which is the main ferry pier on Koh Samet. It is only around 6 km from the mainland to Koh Samet or around 30 minutes boat ride, but each boat normally takes longer just because they usually have to wait to gather passengers up to 20 people. Alternatively, some visitors who are not able to wait may decide to hire a speedboat which is a lot faster but it is definitely more expensive. At Nadan Pier on Koh Samet, there are numerous minibus taxis which will take travelers to any other beaches and the taxi fare is subject to distance and agreement. Paying less is possible by joining minibus taxi with other people. However, if any visitors have booked their resort, their most convenient way is by using pick up service of their reserved resort. The nearest and very beautiful beach of the island is Sai Kaew Beach which is less than a kilometer from Nadan Pier.
