Introduction to Big Buddha Beach

Big Buddha Beach is set right adjacent to small island where is located Big Buddha Temple. This temple boasts of over 10 meter long lap, meditation posture Big Buddha which is an important religious site of local people on Koh Samui. Visitors can finds some small piers along the beach area if they wish to get to Koh Phangan or Ang Thong Islands and this made this location an ideal base for those planning to visit other nearby islands. A few minutes car ride leads visitors to the adjacent Bophut Beach where visitors can browse some remaining folkways of local people in a fishermen village.
