Introduction to Nathon Beach

Known as the major hub of ferry transportation of Koh Samui, Nathon Beach is part of the main Nathon Town where there are full facilities for travelers. This is a busy area with passengers and visitors who come from other places or will go to another destinations. A large number of shops, various sizes restaurants and especially travel companies can be found in this area. Because it is a stopover location, most accommodation that can be found here are mainly tourist class but there are also some higher standard options. This is not an ideal beach for swimming or sunbathing but it is a good spot to admire beautiful sunset or take fresh sea breeze. Local market, shopping site, eateries and bars are all within walking distance of the beach. Those who wish to visit nearby attraction which is accessible by a few minutes car ride is Ban Khwai Thai Samui where visitors can try to ride a buffalo and see some traditional folkways of Thai farmers.
